Healthy Chocolate PB Banana Smoothie (No Added Sugar)

This Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie contains no added sugar and requires no milk! It's deliciously thick and creamy with a rich chocolate flavour.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1 heaping tbsp Cacao Powder (or Cocoa Powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter (Unsalted & Unsweetened)
  • 1 teaspoon Grass-Fed Collagen Powder (Optional)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 - 5 Ice Cubes

Instructions
 

  • Pour 1 cup of water and 4 - 5 ice cubes into your blender jug. Then add 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon collagen powder, collagen creamer (or other superfood powder). 
    Next, add two heaping tablespoons of natural, unsweetened peanut butter and 1 heaping tablespoon of cacao powder or cocoa powder.
  • Next, blend all the ingredients until smooth. It shouldn't take more than 30 seconds in most blenders.
  • Once all the ingredients are blended smoothly, pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

This smoothie can be made with other nut and seed butters in place of the peanut butter! The collagen powder can also be replaced with collagen creamer or other superfood powders. Scroll up to see the Substitutions and Add-Ons section within the blog post for the details.
